We are sorry for our sin.

We thank you for your grace and mercy.
We thank you for supplying all our needs.

We know that you love righteousness and desire us to be holy.
We present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto you.

Your word says that you hear the cries of the righteous.
We cry out to you today because our nation is compassed about by evil.
The workers of iniquity surround us.
So many have rejected your way – the way of truth and holiness.
Churches and government leaders have bowed down to man instead of standing up for you.
Teachers, doctors, bureaucrats, administrators, family members, business and community leaders are determined to follow the ways of the world and not the ways of God.
Their ways are wicked. They work day and night to spread evil throughout this nation.
The livelihoods, lives and health of Christians are constantly threatened.
The nation that was blessed like no other because of our obedience to your word, is being torn apart by those determined to destroy the life that has sustained us for generations.
The nation built on your word, greater than any other because of your grace, is being overrun by those who refuse to submit to your will. Their minds are reprobate. They continue to do that which is unholy and unrighteous in your sight.
We pray for their repentance.
We rebuke their lies. We rebuke their persecution.
Lord, be the judge between us and them.

Although we are compassed about by all manner of evil…
We will not fret.
We will not fear.
We will not be moved.
…
You are our stay.
You are our rock.
You are our strength.
…
Our hope is in you.
Our trust is in you.
Our faith is in you.

We will not fear the evil ones.
Your word says they will be cut down like grass and wither like the green herb.
Your word says that you laugh at them – for you know their day is coming…
The day when you will cut them off.

Strengthen every Christian that stands for your word in this time of evil. Strengthen those that purpose in their hearts to do what is right in your sight. Let them be fearless in their pursuit of you. Put your word in their hearts. Give them the knowledge that comes from the fear of you. Quicken their spirit. Bless them as they continue to obey your word.
We will continue to magnify and exalt your name no matter what comes our way.
Job losses, threats, sickness, violence, famine, death – in whatsoever state we are in – we will be content and praise your holy name.
We will stand on your word.
In our affliction, we will continue to look to you.
And we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
